She may look flawless and happy on the cover of People En Español but not all is well at Casa Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly pushing to enter arbitration with her first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, to prevent the opportunity-seeker from publishing a salacious tell-all book about the Latin diva and his relationship with her.

According to the filing, Ojani is bound to arbitration based on the settlement he and Jennifer arrived at in 2005 when he sued her for breach of contract after she fired him in 2002 from a managerial post at her restaurant Madre's. Their agreement called for, among other things, Noa to remain mum in public about J.Lo's private life. He also received a sweet $125 000 settlement in the deal.

A preliminary injunction was placed on Ojani earlier this year to stop him from selling his manuscript, originally titled, 'The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller.' (Sounds juicy, I know.)

A hearing date is scheduled for January 29. Stay tuned!

Jennifer Aniston is suffering

In the January issue of US Weekly, close friends of the Friends star say that Jennifer Aniston's emotional health, still fragile because of Vince Vaughn's cheating, has suffered since Angelina's recent interview with Vouge and the Oscar-winning actress' current promotional tour for The Good Shepherd. Outlook not good:

On the effect of seeing pictures of baby Shiloh:
"she collapses in a heap, clutching her womb like she's been stabbed if she so much as passes a baby stroller on the street."

On how she deal with it:
"throwing baby dolls into a bonfire on the beach behind her place in Malibu. It's creepy, but she says it makes her feel better for a few hours."

Hey, there's a bright side:
"At least she's stopped watching 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' over and over again, for days at a time without eating or sleeping. That just wasn't healthy."

Yikes. There's bad, and then there's this. Jennifer Aniston could eat live bunnies and seem less crazy. In Jennifer's defense, it must suck knowing that the only reason you were ever considered A-list has moved on and started a family with someone who is better than you in every possible way. Not in Jennifer's defense, it's been two years. If my math is right, this means it takes less time for a newborn baby to speak in complete sentences than it does for Jennifer Aniston to realize Brad Pitt isn't coming back home.

Nicole Richie so Skinny

Yes. This is Nicole Richie heading to the Marc Jacobs store.

The celebutante headed back for another round of shopping at the Melrose Ave. shop, where she was also seen the day before, having her photo taken with Santa.

Richie was again photographed on Santa's lap before purchasing a scarf -- and chewing the tag off of it. At least she's eating something.

Paris Hilton: Britney Spears is an Animal

A few weeks ago, “Britney called Paris and said she had decided not to be seen in public with her ‘for now,’” a Hilton source tells Us.

Though the pair were once practically joined at the hip (they previously had a sleepover in Las Vegas and were spied dancing on banquettes at West Hollywood’s Hyde), things went sour after Spears took heat in the media for partying while leaving her two kids, Sean, 15 months, and Jayden, 3 months, at home.

“Britney told Paris that it’s not personal,” says an insider.

But beware a Hilton scorned. According to another source, the heiress, 25, didn’t invite Spears to her December 18 Christmas Party and now refers to her ex-pal as “Animal.” Why?

“Britney doesn’t think about things before she does them. She just acts out,” says the source.

Lionel Richie: Don’t Sing Nicole

Hollywood Rag reported that Lionel Richie has revealed he didn’t want his daughter Nicole to be a singer.

The former Commodores singer, who has sold more than 100 million records in his career so far, admits he was unimpressed when his ‘Simple Life’ star daughter announced she was following in his footsteps.

Lionel said: “She has done the fame thing is reverse. Normally you need a hit record or movie to become a personality. She started as a personality and now she understands what I go through.

“When she decided to take up music I thought, ‘Urgh, she moving into singing’. I keep telling her, ‘why would you want to go singing?’ It’s funny when they choose the same occupation as you.”

Nicole recently starred in her father’s video for his song ‘I Call It Love’, as a rich girl who falls for a poor waiter.

According to In Touch Nicole Richie continues to lose so much weight she needs a new ring to accommodate her shrinking frame.

A source says:

"Her fingers are so bony that she lost one of her favorite rings because it slipped off her finger.

"It was a small diamond ring from Tiffany that her parents gave her on her 16th birthday."

On her upcoming debut CD:
"Nicole feels as if her star is fading. Her CD is on hold and she isn't getting good offers," adds the source.

Carrie Underwood's new Inspiration

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has capped off an amazing year by snagging a new boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

She made a surprise Christmas Day appearance at Texas Stadium, hugging her new man on the field before the Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now Tony, 26, who has been linked with Jessica Simpson, has confirmed that he and Carrie are a couple in an interview with a small-town paper in Charleston, Ill., where he played college football. The article will appear in Wednesday's Journal Gazette/Times-Courier.

Sports editor Brian Nielsen tells In Touch: "After I asked him all my usual football questions, I said, 'My wife really wants to know if the Jessica Simpson dating rumors are true.'

"He laughed and replied, 'No. Tell her I'm dating Carrie Underwood.'"

Carrie, 23, looked on in disappointment from the stands as the Cowboys were beaten 23-7. NBC commentators Al Michaels and John Madden openly wondered if she was too much of a distraction for Tony.

It wasn't Carrie's first visit to the stadium. She was there on Thanksgiving when she sang during the halftime show at the Cowboys' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Carrie, the 2005 Idol, was named Female Vocalist of the Year at last month's Country Music Awards. She was also named Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards.

Hilary Duff plays Pop Star in movie War, Inc.

(CBS) Hilary Duff is very excited about her upcoming movie, "War, Inc." which she's currently filming in Bulgaria.

"As you know, in the movie with me are John Cusack, his sister Joan, Ben Kingsley and Marisa Tomei," Duff wrote on her AOL blog Friday. "I am so happy and I'm in awe of how it is coming together."

A publicist for Duff tells The Showbuzz that the actress plays a Russian pop star named Yonica in the film.

Even though that sounds like it's not much of a stretch for Duff, who has released a few pop albums herself, she said she's playing "a character who's nothing like me.""I took a risk with this character and for the first time, I feel that my acting has grown which has allowed me to make outlandish choices on screen," said Duff. "We have explosions, comedy, drama, dancing and singing. There is so much stuff that happens."

Duff added that filming will continue for the next "few weeks."

Nicole is being pressured

People reports:

"You get caught up in the peer pressure and the hoopla – it's a media frenzy. It's insane. Success doesn't help," Jones, 73, told PEOPLE Thursday at a benefit performance of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy's new musical, The Bayou Legend, in Los Angeles. "Processing success is a major, major, major process."

Jones, who has seven kids – six of them daughters – added, "I try to tell the young kids there are two cardinal rules: You should approach creativity with humility and have your success with grace. It's a gift from God. You don't deserve it. You are a vehicle of a higher power. Don't abuse it."

But Jones remembers a time when life really was simpler for the Simple Life star. "I adore Nicole," he said. "I've known her since she was a baby. She's a very smart girl. When she was younger she worked eight hours a day for eight years to become an Olympic figure skater. She's a very talented girl."

Britney Spears Knows How to Keep her Private Parts in a Stupid Way

According to Page Six, Britney even went so far as to strip down to nothing but her underwear at and L.A. club last week.

While the pop tart did manage to keep her private parts hidden from the cameras, she stripped down to her bra and miniskirt at a burlesque show late Thursday night. Spears, who has been told repeatedly to stay away from party girl Paris Hilton, stopped by L.A. nightclub Forty Deuce with friends for the club's "Jelly Night" - and wanted to get in on the action. The recently single mother of two celebrated her "newfound freedom" by drinking a martini. She was also seen smoking and dancing. A rep for Spears had no comment.

Reese Witherspoon's Recovery

Reese has spoken for the first time about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.

The Oscar-winning actress - who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for her split - attended the Kennedy Center Honors two weeks ago and said she was "doing fine".

According to In Touch Weekly magazine, Reese said: "I'm doing fine. I'm getting out a little more now. You'll be seeing a lot more of me."

It has also been alleged that the 'Walk The Line' actress has been talking with Ryan on the phone several times a week, but only to discuss their children, seven-year-old daughter Ava and three-year-old son Deacon.

A source said: "She's being civil to him, but she's built walls."

Although Reese is ready to put her marriage behind her, she is not yet thinking about dating a new man.

The source added: "It's a million miles away from her thoughts."

Rumors were rife that Reese's estranged husband Ryan had been having an affair with Australian actress Abbie Cornish.

However, Abbie and Ryan have both vehemently denied these accusations.

When Tom and Katie stepped out at the lavish post-wedding bash they threw in LA on Dec 9, guests were struck by how happy the couple looked - but something else really grabbed their attention. "You could hear everyone whispering the same question to each other - is Kate pregnant again?" says one guest. "She had that special glow about her. some women in the room were certain that she's expecting."

They must be right. At one point, the guest overhead Katie telling close friend Jada Pinkett Smith that she'd recently been shopping for infant clothing. When Jada asked the color, says the guest, "Katie smiled and answered, 'Blue.'"

Britney has bought a new Mediterranean villa in Beverly Hills for $7.2 million.
According to Star:

"She brought like seven or eight people. They were her bodyguards and a few male dancer friends. She stayed for five hours and said she wanted the house immediately. She then got ready in one of the bedrooms at the house for her night out on the town. She took forever to do her hair and makeup. It was such a scene! She came off as very high maintenance. Nice, but demanding. It was obvious she was used to getting what she wanted.

The source added:

"She asked the sellers to get out right away.

"Britney liked the house just as it was. She didn't want to have to wait for new furniture to be brought in."

Is Ms. Lohan Innocent?

TMZ reported that Lindsay Lohan may have given up drinking, but she's still having herself a good ol' time.

Mariah Carey's plan this Christmas

Mariah Carey's Chirstmas day celebration includes rolling in the white snow after a dip in her hot tub.

She told Aspen magazine:

“I like to get out of the hot tub and roll in the snow.

“Somebody told me that it was a tradition in Aspen, but maybe they were lying to me.”

Mariah has been celebrating xmas in Aspen since 1997.

She added:

"It’s a tradition for us to have Santa Claus-looking bikinis, jump in the hot tub, and roll in the fresh snow."

Mary J. Blige on Britney Spears

Hollywood Rag reported that Mary J. Blige has urged people to give Britney
Spears a break.

The singer believes that Britney, 25, deserves to be able to let her hair
down now she has split from estranged husband Kevin Federline last month.

Mary said: "I know that at some point in our lives we've all had a situation
like Britney's, meaning that we all were with someone we thought loved us
and actually didn't."

"We make mistakes. I am looking at Britney as a human being just like
myself. I've messed up big time in my life."

The 'No More Drama' singer is convinced Britney's partying phase will pass
and she come out of her impending divorce a stronger woman.

She is quoted by online music magazine Chocolate as saying: "I love Britney
and I send out all of my prayers and all great energy to her because she's
young and she is going through it. But she is going to get through it. She
is going to come out on the other side real nice, I think."

Over the last few weeks Britney - who is mother to three-month-old Jayden
James and 15-month-old Sean Preston - has frequently been seen leaving Los
Angeles nightclubs in the early hours of the morning.

On four occasions she was photographed without any underwear, but she made sure to have pink panties on last night.

Jennifer Connelly is the face of Marie Claire for January 2007. The model-turned-actress is still filming her next movie, Reservation Road, alongside actor Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Ruffalo, and Mira Sorvino. I just love these photos of her from Marie Claire. Do take some time out and view them.

Reservation Road is about two families (Learner and Arno) that become intertwined when the father from one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run accident. The film is directed by Terry George (Hotel Rwanda). The movie is set to be released on November 9, 2007.

Will Paris Hilton Will do the same thing she did to Britney to Elisha Cuthbert?

Sure, Britney Spears was well on her way down the path to the dark side when Paris Hilton took her in as her apprentice, but now that Britney has freed herself from Paris' evil talons, as Page Six reports, it looks like Paris has found a new apprentice in Elisha Cuthbert, because always two there are.

The friendship between Britney Spears and Paris Hilton was short, sweet and photogenic. But now, it seems, it's over. A source close to Spears explains why the pop tart, who lost her undies last week, has not been seen with her "new best friend" Hilton since she posted an apology to her fans on her Web site, noting, "Thank God for Victoria's Secret underwear!" The source said, "Britney has been told by her people that if she ever wants a comeback, she has to stay far away from Paris and start acting like an adult."

You can tell just by looking at her that the Force is strong with Elisha Cuthbert. But the Dark side of fame is tempting. Elisha must remember: Adventure, excitement, a Jedi craves not these things. And if there's one thing you can be sure of, hanging out with Paris Hilton is always an adventure. But not one you necessarily survive.

Of course, since we are talking about Elisha Cuthbert, and not Britney Spears, a couple of upskirts and nipple slips from Elisha would be more than welcome. I guess the Dark side does have it's upside.

Oh, and yes, putting Paris Hilton side by side with the incredibly beautiful Elisha Cuthbert does make her look that much more retarded.
